A key focus of the collaboration is to dramatically cut down the time from concept to operations for AI-driven features in airborne systems. By combining Aerodata’s expertise in customized and integrated mission systems with DMI’s specialized AI development platform DMI Labs, the two partners plan to deliver cutting-edge AI solutions to customers using a highly efficient engineering setup.

“At Aerodata, we are continuously working to meet and exceed our customers’ evolving needs. A key area of focus is the integration of Artificial Intelligence into our special mission systems and sensors to significantly enhance capabilities. We are excited to collaborate with DMI to jointly develop and demonstrate advanced AI-based solutions, with the clear goal of delivering innovative airborne capabilities and value directly to our customers,“ says Neset Tükenmez, CEO of Aerodata.

Max Najork, Managing Director at Data Machine Intelligence, says: “We are incredibly excited about the potential of this collaboration with Aerodata. Aerodata is a truly fascinating partner because they possess expertise across the entire lifecycle of airborne systems – from initial development to ongoing maintenance and operations. This end-to-end capability is crucial. By integrating DMI Labs deeply into Aerodata’s workflows, we can fully leverage the platform’s potential to its maximum extent. This partnership isn’t just about putting AI into systems; it’s about establishing a state-of-the-art engineering environment that will redefine the speed and efficiency of developing and deploying certifiable AI in aerospace.”

Looking ahead, Aerodata and DMI are starting their collaboration by launching a series of pilot projects designed to demonstrate the effectiveness of the joint partnership. The first of these pilot projects is scheduled to be unveiled at the Paris Air Show in June.
